STEPS (Steps to Enhance Personal Success) Program
The STEPS program is a system special education program designed to meet the needs of students with severe cognitive disabilities who require supervision and assistance in personal care, motor skills, social interaction, communication, leisure, recreation, and other aspects of daily living. The goal of the program is to meet the individual developmental needs of students and to allow them to achieve to their maximum potential for functional living. Instruction is guided by an ISP and builds on individual strengths and needs.

Highlights of the STEPS Program
- Certificated teacher and Specialized Support Assistants (SSA)
- Specialized service which may include support from a speech-language pathologist, occupational and/or physical therapist, vision consultant, deaf and hard of hearing consultant, behavior and programming consultant, inter-agency and/or community partner and assistive technology teams.
